I went over for my usual Monday guitar lesson and my teacher had this to show me. It's an 8-string bass with each pair tuned like a 12- string guitar, except in this case, four pairs instead of six. It has a really unique twangy sound. I don't generally play a bass, but, this is sure fun to mess around with.
